Better cellist have emerged since Pablo, and one of the great masters was Rostropovich. (http://www.ffaire.com/rost/), who sadly passed away at 80 in April. Rostropovich championed living composers, especially Russian ones. And HIS version of the Bach cello suites is unsurpassed. By the way, there still is time. Blow the dust off that cello.
