20×200 in STEP Magazine

Alissa Walker, aka Unbeige 3.0 did a nice write up about 20×200 for the July/August issue of STEP magazine. Alissa has been excited about 20×200 from the get go, and has always been supportive of projects I’m working on, so it’s nice to have the first piece of print press coming from her.
It was pretty thrilling to see the logo in print - I had super high, perhaps unreasonable, expectations of what I wanted it to look like. Little Jacket delivered. As for the project itself: We are scrambling to get everything ready so the site can go live on July 27th, which seems awfully soon for me. I have a whole lotta copy writing and curating to do between now and then. No lazy Summer days for me.
People who sign up for the mailing list pre-launch have will get a special prize, so if you haven’t already, head on over to 20×200 and get yourself on it.
The article is not available online yet, but thanks to a quick turn around by design intern Sarah Foley, I have a scan to share with you:

Yes. Great idea, but the web page at http://www.20×200.com/ says the next Hot Shot competition deadline is May 2007.
So? Is it really quarterly? Is there a new deadline (Aug/Sept?)
Curious minds need to know.
