Things That Go “Pop!”

Owning a gallery has made me pretty much immune to the charms of bubble wrap - it’s one of those things that I hate spending money on: it’s expensive, it takes up a lot of space, I can’t reuse it nearly as much as I’d like to and it’s absolutely necessary, no two ways about it.
Before my gallery days though, the novelty of popping wrap from packages was a treat. Those wacky Japanese have a new invention for those of you who have not been hardened by a life surrounded by sheets and scraps and bits of the stuff: Puchi Puchi a bubble wrap simulator that seems to double as a key chain.
The key chain aspect seems ill-advised - I can imagine really wanting to clobber someone who was going gang busters with the puchi puchi on the subway, seems akin to the genius idea of the nailclipper/keychain combo I so loathe…

I am simply shocked Ms Karolina! I can hardly believe that you don’t have enough bubble wrap in your life already.
