Murketing on 20×200

I Bought These by Kate Bingaman-Burt, soon to be part of a 20×200 edition.
You are likely to be familiar with Rob Walker’s New York Times Magazine column Consumed. He also writes a blog called Murketing. He wrote to me with some damn good questions after I announced 20×200 and I answered them. Please have a look:
Also, if you’re hankering for those $20 prints and want to know when you can get them: Our projected launch date is July 27th. There will be more news to report as we get closer to the date - sign up for our 20×200 mailing list to stay updated.

>The only issue that’s come up with more established artists is the idea of a secondary market that takes advantage of the cheap price and then turns it around and sells the work for a big profit.
For the established artists, I’d think the incentive to participate has got to come from a commitment to supporting the cause — the populist cause as well as the JB cause — right? Some of the people you mention don’t need the cash from 200 prints at $20, or the exposure. Surely they join in because they believe in you and what you’re doing.
