One, Two, Three… FOUR!

Today is the gallery’s four year anniversary! Having not graduated from college, gotten married, nor given birth (much to my parents’ consternation, sorry folks) I have to say that the day I opened for business is probably the single most important day of my life. I’ve always been big on my birthday - I’m a girl who loves her cake, after all, but it can’t hold a candle to my Galleversary. Everyone gets to have a birthday, and lots of people get married and have babies and all that stuff. How many people get to have a bouncing baby gallery? It’s pretty damn cool.
I feel proud, and also incredibly fortunate for all the amazing people and things this experience has brought into my life. Even the bad things, of which there are plenty, have brought good things along with them or at the very least forced me to coax something positive out of them.
I’m excited about what the future holds - I have lots of plans about to come to fruition, and of course there is the mystery of all that I can’t control or conceive and how those things will intercept with everything I’m doing. All of that aside though, just making it work for four! whole! years! is awesome. So, cheers to that.
