Coffee for One

I am a coffee frrrrrrrreak, always have been, I love it so, in all of its divine forms. My morning poison has always been a classic ‘merican style brewed affair, but I’m a recent convert to french press, thanks to a gift from a friend. (Also, the smell of overheated old coffee makes me gag, it’s the worst.) The problem with the press is that I like two cups in the morning, and my second cup, while no longer putridly burnt, is always lukewarm at best. That’s why I like the look of the Coffee for One. Well, that and also it’s awfully nice looking, ain’t it?

For the record, if I had my druthers, a double small latte, perfectly prepared by Meister would be hand-delivered to me from Joe upon my arising each morning. It’s my favorite caffeinated beverage in town. (And if you go in person, they happen to have some fabulous photography on view. (jen@joe, now at both Joe locations!)
